Grant Co Collab Working Group/Gathering

Join other churches, community partners and ministries to impact the community with the support of state leaders! Many are already ministering in these areas, and our goal is to see faith leaders in our community collaborate together with child welfare leaders to impact their counties and (collectively) the state.

This is a continuing working group that was formed from the Called to Care Initiative DCS Director Adam Krupp & Josh Hershberger began in 2025. This is a collaboration in conjunction with the Hands of Hope quarterly county church gatherings that take place. These collaboration/working groups will continue to be held quarterly at the local Grant Co DCS office for now, with hopes of transitioning them to different church hosts, each quarter. We will ask a church to provide snacks/drinks for the gathering and any additional churches/organizations that feel called to, to provide donations of  boxes of snacks for the DCS office to keep on hand for children that are removed.

The purpose of the quarterly event will be to go over what things are already happening in the community and what additional needs the community still has that we can work on fulfilling together. We will also review goals and ideas we set at previous gatherings. Feel free to bring anyone that is interested in serving vulnerable children/families in Grant county. I look forward to meeting each of you and pray that our gatherings will be beneficial to the community.
